Friends of the Museum on the Seam

The Museum on the Seam's friends' association set the goal of insuring the continuation and growth of the Museum. The social and civil importance that the changing exhibitions displayed in the museum carry, through the works of today's leading artists from around the globe, focus on our society's seam lines and diversity in the spirit of human rights in order to advance dialogue within.

The Museum on the Seam is the only social museum in Israel, and It was only recently that Mr. Reuven Rivlin, the former president of the State of Israel, described the museum as a "Unique asset to the city of Jerusalem and Israel, promoting social issues through art at its best", to which author Amos Oz added: "I think this museum holds special importance, especially these days when hostility and miscommunication dominate. This is the reason that from this specific place in Jerusalem, I am honored to turn to anyone who is willing to lend a hand and help this important establishment."

The Friends' association was founded to support this important institute and allow its members a framework for an active and essential participation in the museum.
