No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend's or of thine own were: any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.

John Donne

The essence of life is bound to injustice... There is no life without the destruction of life. If we observe well, we can see that in every moment someone robs someone else of their "life space", and all who observe as they should, will not be able to endure their lives. Our existence as men begins with particular dimensions compared against the results of our actions, and within this equation we will steal the well being of others but only what we must take. We cannot avoid doing wrong; but we have been granted one grace: We need do no more wrong than is necessary; in other words, it is none other than the same grace granted us to be men.
